Description Technology and Options   If you are looking to have your ID badge professionally represent your organization's marketing image, or you require a complex set of badges to manage your environment, then take advantage of eXpress badging's experienced ID design team. The Proof of Concept Stage Upon engagement, eXpress badging combines any submitted badge design input and graphic source material with our own creative direction resulting in a Proof-of-Concept design presentation that shows a professional direction, style and design for the new ID badge. We provide a minimum of two Proof-of-Concept approaches in this first round.  These are provided in PDF format and emailed. The average time line for this stage is 5 to 8 business days upon engagement. The Pre-Proof Stage Upon proof-of-concept selection, any customer provided badge design feedback is applied in the Pre-proof Stage. eXpress badging generates a Pre-proof in PDF format which is emailed for approval. It is vital to check over content, spell check, placement, data elements, fonts and other design related considerations. It is easy to change things at this time before the job goes into the actual proofing stage. Last-minute changes may require additional costs and delay deployment of your badge project. The average time line for this stage is 3 to 5 business days upon submittal of all source material. PVC Proof Stage Upon Pre-proof sign-off, we proceed with our standard process of producing a proof. For both Pre-paid Badging and In-House Badging orders we product an actual production PVC Proof using the PVC badge printer, then scan and email it in PDF format for final proof approval. Actual samples can be mailed upon request. The average timeline for the PVC Proof stage is  1 to 3 business days. Press Proofs (if applicable) If “press” printed card stock is required, an additional PDF “Proof” is provided. Press printed card stock is used when the customer requires tighter color matching throughout the entire badge project life cycle, security holographic-like icons, quantities are 500 or more per order, and/or when a single sided In-House PVC printer is used and having the backs pre-printed with badge associated statement/s. For Pre-paid Badging and In-House Badging projects that also require press printed card stock, a “Combination Proof” of PVC and press printed components are included in the Proof set.
