About Us - IDentify our leadership
The dedicated eXpress badging team is led by IDentification Technology Specialist, Joe French, who offers more than 20 years of experience in the high tech ID business. In addition to successfully running and managing his own business, Mr. French previously worked for IDenticard Systems Incorporated for 13 years. Rising from the ranks of sales representative and sales management, French became IDenticard’s first National Smart Card Manager working with fortune 100 companies and major smart card manufacturers, managing a project team servicing high-level high tech card projects. For three years afterwards, Mr. French successfully managed the business development efforts for ITC Systems, Inc., introducing their high tech cash card point of sale solutions to higher education campuses and public libraries across the country.
eXpress badging is a women owned business (51%) and was started by Laina French as a sole proprietorship in 1993 to fulfill the need for ID badges that where needed in a matter of days verses weeks. By using her management background, French has been able to build a reliable outsourced badging service for eXpress badging’s customers. In 2003 “Express Badging Services, Inc.” was formally incorporated and positioned as a systems integrator with a primary focus on photo ID badge production, visitor management systems, loyalty/membership card production, automated employee time & attendance and security door access solutions.
The entire eXpress badging team is trained to manage customer expectations by listening from the very beginning, and encouraging ongoing feedback as a resource in maintaining their commitment in delivering the highest level of customer service.

eXpress badging’s customers are diverse. They range from businesses with as few as 5 employees to global businesses whose employee base far exceeds the 1,000 range, to educational institutions with as few as 50 students to campuses with over 15,000 badge holders, to non-profits and associations with limited start up participant levels to ones with 1,000s that are distributed worldwide, to government entities from small municipalities to very secure military bases, to merchant customers who use loyalty card programs that help keep their customers coming back in addition to bringing new customers in for the first time.
Prepaid IDentification Production Services:
As the name implies, eXpress badging delivers a line of Xpress ID solutions for organizations that do not require personalized cards on demand or at time of hire. eXpress badging produces the complete personalized ID card as an outsource solution with a turnaround guarantee of 3 business days. Regardless of technology, eXpress badging can produce a high tech cards with magnetic stripes, barcodes, proximity, smart cards or any combination there of.
ID Accessories and Supplies:
eXpress badging offers a complete line of ID related supplies and accessories. Over 1000 different items can be procured directly off our web store.
In House ID Badge & Visitor Management Systems:
eXpress badging is an authorized "Business Partner" (highest tier) for IDenticard Systems, Inc. of Lancaster, PA (a Brady owned company) and has access to their complete line of identification production software, hardware, supplies, support and training. STOPware is also a Brady owned company, and eXpress badging is an authorized provider their complete line of visitor management solutions. eXpress badging has over 18 years experience with the IDenticard product line.
eXpress badging is also an authorized reseller of Zebra and Fargo card printers and supplies with over 13 years experience with each line.
Employee Time and Attendance Systems:
eXpress badging is an authorized partner for Qqest, Inc. of Salt Lake City, Utah, and has access to their complete line of automated employee time and attendance hardware, software, supplies, support and training. Time and attendance systems allow employers to efficiently track employee time keeping with the swipe of a card in addition to: integrated biometrics when 100% attendance security is required, PDAs and phone call-in configurations for remote employees, as well as PC based login solutions when clock terminals are not required.
Physical Access Control:
eXpress badging is an authorized "Business Partner" (highest tier) for IDenticard Systems, Inc. of Lancaster, PA (a Brady owned company) and has access to their complete line of physical access control (door/gate access) software and hardware, support and training.
Cash Card Systems:
eXpress badging is also an authorized "Elite Partner" (highest tier) for ITC Systems, Inc. and has access to their complete line of cash card point of sale hardware, software, supplies, support and training. These systems are used in "closed" POS environments where prepaid dollars are stored on the card or on an online "server" account for purchases using the card that is integrated with technologies like magnetic stripes, smart chips and barcodes. eXpress badging has over 4 years experience with their product line selling to higher education and public libraries.
